CAMPAIGN AUDI REPLACEMENT COILS
One of the endemic problems of the Audi TT MKI were the coils of the motor .
In many units, due to a manufacturing or design problem, the life of the coils is shorter than expected.
Finally, Audi has recognized the problem and has taken the turn of the coil defective, at 0 cost to the customer . This campaign has the code 28E9 .
I went to Audi concesionari in May 2011, where they verify that the coils had my TT came into the campaign. Indeed the reels were marked as defective. I must admit that I did not notice any symptoms of problem, and no difference when they replace. However, then the car had only 40,000 km.
