VIN CODES AND EQUIPMENT CODES
From frame number or VIN (Vehicle Identification Number), we obtain various information about our vehicle.
The frame number is a series of digits (17), grouping them into subsets that we obtain the following information:
Digits 1-2: Country of manufacture
Digit 3: Manufacturer
Digits 4-6: Unknown
Digits 7-8: Model
Digit 9: check digit
Digit 10: Year of Manufacture
Digit 11: Factory which was built
Digits 12-17: Sequence number of production
